It turns out both Designer and Photo are pretty usable for it. I actually made those to prove to myself if Affinity was usable also for pixel art. I made a pair of in depth semi-tutorials on the Serif forums, but now I can't remember my workflow, lol. And there's much more (advantages) than that. If you have regular keys assigned to brush size (I have my Wacom disk assigned to that, faster for me) it will work to make your brush go from 1px to 200 px, if you need it. I have worked as a pixel artist for a living, and I wouldn't need more for static pixel art (for animated there is one particular brilliant app). You get it by pressing and holding on the brush icon in the vertical toolbar. The mentioned Pixel Tool is quite good for what really is needed. I don't have an iPad (Galaxy S7 FE, so, Android.) so, I have no idea if certain tools have been ported the same. The below is based on the PC version usage. Well, I answered all below thinking about the apps in general, not in the iPad version. Vimeo Affinity Vimeo Affinity Photo Vimeo Channel Affinity Designer Vimeo ChannelĮdit: Ouch.
